No, AMT®-RA is an innovative technology which does not involve platelets or any other blood component. AMT®-RA uses healthy tissue grafts from your own body. PRP therapy requires series of sessions, but AMT®-RA is designed to provide results in just a single session.
No, AMT®-RA, does not requires harvesting of body fat. There is no surgical procedure required to perform this treatment. The healthy tissue grafts are obtained with a simple biopsy procedure performed by the physician. It is a painless procedure performed in a sterile setup.
AMT®-RA is a procedure performed in an ambulatory setup and is complete under an hour. You don’t need to get admitted in a hospital for pre or post care.
After the procedure, you are advised to take rest for 48 hrs, followed by light movement of the treated joints. Within a week of the treatment, you are encouraged to perform your daily activities as normal as possible. You will see a gradual reduction in pain & increased a mobility within 4-6 weeks. Based on your condition, the physician will either recommend the course of action.
The cost depends on 2 main factors: how severe your condition is and how many joints or areas of the body you are looking to have treated. Trained AMT®-RA Physicians will be able to answer this question for you more thoroughly after your initial examination and review of diagnostic findings.
Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover such treatmensts, so the treatments are self-pay. Your physician will be able to provide solutions regarding the treatment cost. We encourage to speak with the physician.

Safety Information
AMT®-RA procedure is not for everyone. You should not have the AMT®-RA treatment in areas with metal, electrical, or electronic implants/devices.
Tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions as AMT®-RA should not be used in patients with fever, malignant tumor, hemorrhagic conditions, epilepsy, recent surgical procedure, pulmonary insufficiency, pregnancy, arthritis rheumatoid (positive rheumatoid factor), family-related inflammatory arthritis, hematoma auris (or “cauliflower ear”), other inflammatory general diseases which are not controlled., any autoimmune disease not controlled, ear reconstruction or otoplasty, knee infection or active synovitis, present articular fibrosis, meniscopathy.
AMT®-RA should not be used in patients with Graves’ disease (an autoimmune disorder that causes overactive thyroid), active bleeding disorders, or seizure disorders.
Common side effects may include, but may not be limited to, muscular pain, temporary muscle spasms, temporary joint or tendon pain, and redness at or near the treatment site.
